NEW BOYS, OLD TROUBLES
Another pointless round of matches for the promoted three. With just a solitary point from their first ten matches, Sheffield United are beginning to look a tad beleaguered. A goal difference of minus 22 is the joint worst of any side at the bottom of Premier League after ten matches. Norwich in 2021/22 had the same goal difference at this juncture, but only one other team has mustered just one point at this stage of the season and that was none other than Sheffield United in 2020/21.
Bottom Three 2020/21

TOTTENHAM AND ARSENAL REACH DOUBLE FIGURES
Tottenham and Arsenal maintained their undefeated starts to the season. This is only the second time Spurs have avoided any losses in their first ten matches, the only other season they did so was in 2016/17 when they suffered their first reverse in their thirteenth match. Meanwhile for Arsenal this is the sixth time they have not lost in their first ten Premier League fixtures.
A THIRD HAT-TRICK OF OWN GOALS
There was a rash of own goals with Joel Ward starting things off on Friday against Tottenham, followed by one for each side at Villa Park from Tom Lockyer of Luton and Villa’s Emi Martinez. This is the third time in the last four rounds of fixtures there have been three OGs, compared to only five in the other seven rounds together.
