Premier League Nuggets 2024/25 – Match Week 10 Episode 31 of ‘It Started With a Kick’ – Danny Jamieson. Wednesday 13 November Live show with Pat Nevin

CHERRY DELIGHT

Bournemouth’s 2-1 win over Manchester City not only brought an end to City’s unbeaten streak of 32 league matches but also called a halt to the most one-sided fixture in Premier League history. Prior to last Saturday’s game at the Vitality Stadium City had won all fourteen of the previous games, scoring 45 goals at an average of just over three per game while Bournemouth scored a measly seven, or one goal every two games. Indeed they had never scored more than once against the champions.

It Started With a Kick

TNT reporter Danny Jamieson was this week’s guest on ‘It Started With a Kick’, a week after his now legendary interview with Jose Mourinho, following the Fenerbache Manchester United Europa League tie in Istanbul. Unusually Danny’s first match was at none other than Wembley for the FA Trophy Final between cheltenham and Southport. As a Wigan fan he fondly remembers the Latics’ Premier League days including their opening match against Chelsea, the champions sneaked a 1-0 win, managed by none other than Mourinho. The circle well and truly completed.
