Premier League MatchWeek 25 / Episode 45 ‘It Started With a Kick’

PREMIER LEAGUE NUGGETS – MatchWeek 25

Another week goes by without a win for the bottom three, between them they have collected 43 points. At the same stage last season Luton, Burnley and Sheffield United had three more. Ipswich’s plucky point at Villa Park, when playing for all the second half with ten men, was the one bright spot for the trio of promoted clubs, although Wolves’ loss at Anfield at least kept them in touching distance with thirteen games remaining.

It Started With a Kick – Episode 45

This week’s guest is Theo Delaney, Theo hosts the excellent ‘Life Goals’ podcast in which various luminaries from every walk of life choose their favourite goals with accompanying music, football’s version of Desert Island Discs.

Alongside being a podcaster, Theo writes and directs commercials and for his sins, he’s a Tottenham fan. One of Theo’s formative experiences as a fan was when he got his first Spurs shirt and his mum sewed on the number 9 wrong way round turning him into Phil Beal rather than Martin Chivers. He also recounts ‘the greatest night of my life’ which was 1981 FA Cup Final replay when Ricky Villa scored that goal while Theo screamed “Pass it!” At the Argentinian.
