It Started With a Kick Episode 86 : Semra Hunter

Semra is a broadcaster who has worked for variety of different media including BBC, Sky, talkSPORT, ITV and outside the UK CNN, La Liga, Real Madrid TV and Al-Jazeera. Semra was brought up in California, was football-mad and the first match she attended was as a 12-year-old. Incredibly that just happened to be the Women’s World Cup Final in 1999 when the USA beat China on penalties after a goalless draw with Brandi Chastain’s famous celebration after converting the decisive spot kick.

Semra appeared on the tv coverage that day and her broadcasting career started from there. She then moved to Barcelona in 2007 and her boyfriend at the time was a mad Barca fan so she watched very closely the end of the Rijkard reign and the beginning of the Guardiola era.
