It Started With a Kick Episode 98 : Jacqui Oatley
Jacqui Oatley has a wealth of broadcasting experience as a commentator and reporter and like a fair few other broadcasters who have been guests on this podcast, started off in hospital radio before moving to BBC local radio, which in Jacqui’s case was BBC Leeds as well as on home territory, in the West Midlands. Jacqui moved to national radio with 5 Live in 2003 and also featured as a commentator on Match of the Day, starting off with Fulham’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn Rovers in 2007.

Jacqui’s first match as a spectator was at Molineux in September 1990 when Wolves drew 1-1 with Bristol Rovers with Robbie Dennison scoring for the home side and a certain Ian Holloway for the visitors. Jacqui then spent the following years up and down the country following Wolves. Her family have mixed allegiances with her husband and daughter supporting Man United while her son is now a regular at Plough Lane, following AFC Wimbledon.
