Geoff is a commentator who has been at talkSPORT for over 25 years. Before joining talkSPORT Geoff cut his teeth in local radio in and around Leicester. Unusually, Geoff is also a bit of a master behind the decks and DJs both here and in Ibiza. But before we head off to sunnier climes, we begin at Filbert Street almost exactly 45 years ago for the visit of Manchester United when Jim Melrose scored the only goal of the game.
Following Leicester has brought its fair share of highs for Geoff including that extraordinary Premier League title in 2016. A victory so famous that when Geoff was in LA with Leicester on a pre-season tour he had the surreal experience of having a conversation about the Foxes’ triumph with none other than Will Ferrell. Five years later, Youri Tielemans’ spectacular goal gave the Foxes their long-awaited and, to date, only FA Cup victory sparking a long weekend of celebration with a bit of broadcasting thrown in for good measure.
