Daniel Mann has been commentating for Sky Sports for over twenty years where not only is he on regular Premier League and EFL duty, but he has also covered a host of other competitions including dozens of Play-Offs finals, which naturally puts him in extremely favourable light at It Started With a Kick HQ and we delve into much greater detail of the Play-Offs a little further on in the episode.

Daniel’s first match was at Vicarage Road in March 1986 for a Division One match to watch a goalless draw with Ipswich Town, who he adopted as his side. Daniel ended up working at Radio City in Liverpool where his mentor was Clive Tyldesley and unfortunately he ended up commentating at Portman Road when Ipswich lost 6-0 to Liverpool. One of Daniel’s most memorable matches as a commentator was the 2015 League One Play-Offs when Swindon Town beat Sheffield United 5-5 at the County Ground.
